Economic Development Partners
The V2TC is located in a City owned office building and is a program administered in part by the City of Ventura's Economic Development Divison. The City employs the Incubator's Executive Director who is charged with managing the application process, marketing the Incubator, recruiting start-ups and building partnerships.
The Ventura Chamber of Commerce is the non-profit fiscal agent for the incubator program. The Chamber employs the Incubator's Office Manager who is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the V2TC.
With a sharp focus on the attraction, retention and expansion of businesses in Ventura County, the Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County (EDC-VC) works to maintain the county’s economic health and vitality. A regional public/private economic development organization, the EDC-VC delivers programs that promote jobs and economic growth, and raise overall productivity and incomes.
Academic Partners
Ventura College, an accredited two-year institution of higher education, has been a part of this beautiful seaside community since 1925. It is conveniently located approximately 60 miles north of Los Angeles and 30 miles south of Santa Barbara. The 112-acre campus, set in the rolling hills of Ventura, has an enrollment of 13,524 students.
The V2TC partners with the University of Santa Barbara’s Technology Management Program (TMP) and is a proud sponsor of their 2010 New Venture Competition. TMP's educational programs include classes in management, entrepreneurship, new product development, marketing, and much more taught by world-class scholars, highly successful business lecturers and entrepreneurs. In addition, the program includes networking with California's top business and entrepreneurial leaders, a New Venture Competition that actually launches successful new ventures, student mentoring, an evening lecture series, and endless ways for participants to develop and practice their leadership skills.
Financial Partners
With offices in Sacramento and Santa Barbara, DFJ Frontier invests in seed and early stage technology companies on the West Coast. They are part of the DFJ Network, the most active venture capital organization on the planet. With offices in over 30 cities around the globe, their network has over $5 billion under management to fund extraordinary entrepreneurs. DFJ Frontier also serves as the investment partner for the City of Ventura's Jobs Investment Fund.

Maverick Angels is a very different kind of angel investor network. They take an entrepreneurial approach to angel investing to create win-win results with portfolio companies. More than just capital, they provide entrepreneurs with coaching, training, relationships, and other resources which dramatically increase their chances for success.
Strategic Partners
reQall is a global memory aid technology company with operations in the Bay area, Hong Kong and India. reQall is a spin off of MIT's Media Lab and a NASA Research park Partner. Behind reQall are some of the most respected individuals from the worlds of science, technology and business. ReQall’s CEO, Dr. N. Rao Machiraju, serves on the V2TC Advisory Committee and is the incubator’s chief mentor.
Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) is an eight-story, 240-bed nonprofit facility that has become a state-of-the-art regional hospital and health center, providing a vast array of medical services and programs. Currently the Ventura Ventures incubator program only offers office space, however CMH has pledged two floors of the existing hospital to be converted into incubator lab space for medical device and bio-tech start-ups once the hospital expands to their new building.
